Whipped JEM Maple butter is a simple recipe made up of just two (pretty obvious) ingredients, pure organic maple syrup and butter. This sweet and savory recipe is a great enhancement for pretty much every one of your Thanksgiving dishes. Your guests will have no idea just how easy your gourmet addition was to make.
Some Thanksgiving uses for Maple Butter include:
topping sweet potatoes or squash
buttering hot dinner rolls
adding to sautéed vegetables like green beans and Brussels sprouts
rubbing under the skin of the turkey before cooking (creates a delicious glaze!)
INGREDIENTS
1 Cup (two sticks) Softened Butter
1/2 Cup JEM Maple Syrup
Optional Additions (pick and choose per your preference)
1/2 Teaspoon Salt
1/2 Teaspoon Cinnamon
1/2 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
1/2 Teaspoon Pumpkin Pie Spice
1/2 Teaspoon Rosemary (great when using on turkey)

RECIPE
In a medium bowl, whip the softened butter with an electric mixer until fluffy and pale yellow (about 2 minutes). Add the pure JEM Maple Syrup and any other optional additions and beat for another 2 minutes until all of the ingredients are blended.
How to Store
We recommend serving or using the butter immediately to keep the whipped consistency but if you would like to store the butter it can stay in the fridge in an air tight container for a week or store in the freezer for up to two months.
